v5.3
Shift rosters get a week view
Released
The roster planner worked a day at a time, which is the wrong unit: overtime is counted against the week, and a planner who cannot see the week cannot see the overtime coming.
The week view puts seven days and every employee on one screen, totals the hours as you drag, and warns before you publish a roster that would push someone past the limit.
New features
- Week view on the roster planner, with running hour totals per employee
- Drag a shift between days without reopening it
Improvements
- Roster publish is roughly twice as fast on large departments
- Shift colours are consistent between the planner and the employee app
- Roster templates copy forward to the next week
- Night shifts are marked in the week view
- Per-department filters persist between visits
Fixes
- The roster export missed the last day of the month
- Public holidays were double-counted against the weekly limit
- Shift swap notifications were sent twice
