Overview v5.2

Both filings were being rebuilt by hand in Excel every period. The exports now come straight off the pay run, in the layout each office asks for.

Contributions are calculated at 2% employee and 3% employer on earnings up to MMK 300,000, with the ceiling applied per employee rather than against the company total — which is where the hand-built spreadsheets usually went wrong.

New features in QHRM v5.2
Payroll → Filings. The SSB contribution schedule, straight off the pay run.

Improvements

2
  • The contribution ceiling is applied per employee rather than per company
  • Year-to-date figures recalculate without reopening the pay run

Fixes

4
  • Rounding on the employer share was a kyat out on some salaries
  • Employees with no SSB number were dropped from the schedule instead of flagged
  • The export was written in the wrong encoding for Burmese names
  • The period label named the wrong month on the first filing of a year

Breaking change

The old SSB export template is withdrawn. Anything scripted against its column order must be repointed at the new export.
